Two months old! Time needs to slow WAY down. We are now getting so many smiles from this girl of ours. She loves when her Daddy sings to her. He definitely gets the most smiles. She goes just about every where with us and seems pretty content and happy. She likes riding in the car and she also really likes bath time. She rolled over from her back to her tummy a few times last week. She weighs 9 pounds 5 ounces and is 23 inches long.
We switched her formula a few days ago to gentlease and she seems to be a lot let fussy. She is staying awake longer between feeds now. She wants lots of constant attention. We enjoy letting her stand and sit because she smiles back at us a lot. C is a great night time sleeper. The past few weeks she has been sleeping in our bed. After we changed her formula she started sleeping all night. A couple of days ago I let her sleep on her tummy in her crib and she slept all night in there. I am so completely stressed about her sleeping on her tummy in her own bed but I know it is best for everyone. She is one happy girl in the mornings when she wakes up. She hardly ever cries even after we moved her to her room, she still wakes up happy.
This girl still doesn't care a whole lot for her swing or her play mat. She doesn't like pacifiers or chew toys. She does however love sucking on her thumb. She chews on her hand or sucks her thumb all the time. Her thumb seems to soothe her when she wakes up in the night. She sort of roots around looking for it and is quickly back to sleep.
This past month we went on a small getaway without Claire and I also started back to work. Leaving her everyday is hard but it gets easier every day. I think having a new exciting job to go to helps me. I prayed so much that heart would be strong enough to go back to work. I feel like God definitely answered my prayers. This little family of mine is pretty great. I love doing life with these two.
