Baby Clark: 35 Weeks

This girl has been moving like crazy all week. She kicks me repeatedly in the upper left side of my belly. She has the hiccups at least once a day this week. She still seems to sleep pretty good through the night but a couple of times she has woken me up with her wiggles.

We have everything ready for her except cushions for the glider. I need to get the fabric ordered so I can finish that last thing. Her last piece of art will arrive next week. We have car seats ready to be installed. I have washed all of our clothes and packed our bags. I do not feel like she is going to be born early but I still at least feel prepared if she surprises me.

Thursday we had another doctor appointment because she will be out of town this next week. I am not dilated at all. She pulled out an ultrasound so she could check Baby C's position and she is still head down. We will skip week 36 at the doctor but at our next appointment we will have another sonogram before our appointment. I love getting little peeks at this girl of ours.

I haven't been sleeping real great at night. I wake up quite frequently, usually to go to the bathroom. I toss and turn a lot which probably drives J insane! I may have to move to the sofa so that he can get some rest. Even though I am missing out of sleep I am not really exhausted.

I have been trying to keep the house really clean and stay on top of all of the laundry so I don't feel stressed or overwhelmed. We seem to spend a lot of our free time at home not doing too much. This isn't something that we have planned out. I think we both know how much more busy we are about to get. Plus, it's hot outside.

Sunday we went to a late lunch with my parents and then spent the rest of the day being very lazy. I felt very restless all afternoon. It was a really strange feeling. I felt like I really wanted to do something but was really just way too tired. Sunday night my mom joined me for a walk and I was able to do a full mile. I feel like I could have probably went further but I know I shouldn't push too hard. I am hoping to make walking a part of my routine for the next few weeks. I have read that really helps get things ready for delivery. I probably need to try to stretch everyday too. My body has felt pretty stiff and sore when I wake up in the mornings. Perhaps this will help me feel better.
