Baby Clark: 33 Weeks and a baby shower!

What a week! It flew by. Although I don't remember work being too busy work at home definitely was! J was out of town Wednesday through Friday so of course my mom was there to stay with me. We celebrated her birthday on Wednesday. While J was out of town for work and buying baby clothes, Mom and I were cleaning up the house. I really needed help getting things deep cleaned especially after having to replace the water heater a few weeks ago. My belly seems to be getting bigger. I am anxious for next week to see if I have grown. I wish so badly that we could have a sonogram every week. I like seeing her squirm and know for sure everything is going good in there.

Thursday my friend was admitted to the hospital. She is due just 3 weeks before us. They are running a bunch of test to make sure everything is okay. She had high blood pressure and very swollen feet and ankles. We found out on Saturday right before our shower that she has pre-eclampsia and they will induce on Monday. We are so excited to meet this sweet boy!

Saturday, a few friends threw us a small shower. They served brunch and had french macarons, cake and mimosas. Almost everyone that was invited made it out to celebrate with us! We were so excited to visit with everyone. Baby C received so many gifts. It is really a blessing for your child to be so loved. She has tons of outfits now! We are so grateful to all of the wonderful people we have in our life. They truly make things so special.
