Baby Clark: 32 Weeks

I have been having quite a few cramps the last few days. Luckily I didn't have to wait until Thursday to go to the doctor this week. Our Tuesday appointment went well but my belly was still measuring almost exactly what it was two weeks ago. She said that the cramping could be some dehydration from being out in the heat. She told me to take it easy in the heat, drink lots and lots of water and stay in the air conditioning as much as possible. I'm going to try my best to relax for the next 7 and half weeks so that I don't have to be so freaked out. The doctor requested that we have a sonogram done on Wednesday because I am still measuring so small. I have been concentrating extra hard on those tiny (sometimes not so tiny) movements in my belly. Trying to count and make certain that Baby C is hitting her goals everyday. I really enjoyed the sonogram on Wednesday morning. Even though we had decided we weren't going to have another, I am so glad we had to do it. We got to see good views of feet, belly and head. We also got a little glimpse at a sweet little face. C had her arms up so we could only see her nose, lips and eyes but she sure looks like the most beautiful little girl I have ever seen.
We are so very ready for her to be here with us. The sono tech said she weighs a little over 3 pounds. She is measuring 1 day small. She also said that she is probably going to be a small baby when she is born. I love that open mouth and brow line in this picture. I feel like my heart might explode every time I look at this picture.

She seems to be settling in well. Friday she was very still again. It was a pretty stressful day for me. I tried everything then after about an hour and a half, laying in bed with J listening to music and a good cry, she started squirming around and kicking me a little. The rest of the weekend went a lot better.
