Vesi (things to remember)

Christmas 2014

This tiny love will forever be missed by me. The last few months living away from her have been hard but at least she was always just right outside of town if I got to missing her too bad. I'm really sad today about what life is going to be like without her. I'm so grateful for all of the wonderful adventures I had with her and all of the time she spent with me. I will miss hearing those toenails clicking on the floor when she was excited that she was going some where with me. She loved to go  with us. I loved telling her she could go because she knew that word and when you would say it to her you could tell she was just overcome with excitement. She couldn't contain herself. She would bounce off of your leg until you put her in a purse, picked her up or got in the car.

Vesi loved playing fetch with tiny little tennis balls. She loved cheese and whipped cream. If you had the cheese grater out she was going to be standing her your feet in the kitchen willing you to drop even the tiniest little bit of cheese. Cheese was her favorite even though she thought she was entitled to anything anyone was eating.

She enjoyed spending nice days outside in her pen while we worked in the yard or swam. She would lay up on her stool and soak in the warmth of the sun. If it was cold outside and there was a fire in the fireplace you always knew where you could find her. She would lay right in the center of the hearth. We often would make her get down because we were afraid it was too hot for her.

She loved her duck toy. When there wasn't much left to it we tried to replace it with the same exact toy but she still loved the original one. She had to make several trips to the vet for an upset stomach because she would eat the duck. That toy probably should have been thrown away but she loved it.
so many snuggles
Baths were not her thing but I truly think that she felt so good after she was all clean and brushed with a new ponytail because she pranced all over the house and made sure everyone noticed how pretty she looked. She enjoyed wearing sweaters when it was cold outside but she also wore dresses all the time. If you got her clothes out she didn't run from you; she ran to you. She was a prissy little girl.

Everyone always wanted to hold her because she was so little but she didn't really care for being carried around by the majority of people. She really preferred to lay in your lap and get a neck rub. She wasn't really a fan of little kids. (I think this ties back to the not liking to be held thing.) She had a bed time and she did not like staying up late. If it was time for bed she was going to go get in the bed. Her favorite spot to sleep/nap was right where ol' Sparky sleeps. You could often find her there especially in the mornings after he would leave for work. She LOVED getting on the bathroom counter while Mom and I got ready. She would bark until someone would lift her up there. She hated Mom's blush brush. We still have no clue why but it is true.

Life will be so different without our tiny girl. I hope she knows how loved she was because she was truly one of the best parts of my life.
